While by default the home screen looks pretty boring, there are a few things that make it look as one of a modern phone.
The display is a touchscreen one but lacks visibility in sunlight which is a shame.

A minus is the shutter lag which makes the camera very slow.
Even if F700 looks a bit chunky due to its QWERTY sliding keyboard, the phone feels great in the palm of your hand and looks great also.
First of all, the ultra smart Samsung F700, there is no WiFi connection, which means that this phone cannot be used in office wireless networks, a severe setback for many users.

The touch screen is a pain as when it decides to stop working you have to lock the phone (via a switch at top right) then unlock it to get the screen to accept touch commands.
