I was looking for a new phone with an excellent camera and was going to go for the se s700i, but they ran out of stock at the shop, so i went for the d500 and, to be honest, i'm pretty glad as i haven't found any kind of flaw with it yet.

It is annoying how I bought an expensive phone that lasted for no time at all & now I have been given this phone which is a few years old & its lovely!

Shooting with the Samsung is a bit slower, it takes a while until the camera starts up and also the shutter release has a little delay.
The phone is very fast except the delay of the camera control application.
The phone lacks the Symbian operating system of a smartphone, which means that third-party applications are limited, but the D500 isn't a smartphone and it's not fair to compare it with one.
The only bad thing is the screen gets finger prints on it easily.
The Samsung D500 is the first Samsung handset that we've seen supporting Bluetooth, a notable omission from previous handset models, and comes with a 1. 3 megapixel camera and impressive 80Mb of internal memory.
Indeed, we understand that Samsung has had some real problems finding carriers to adopt some of it's higher end phones, partly because of the lack of Bluetooth.
