The Mogul is manageable in size, powerful in terms of processing performance and storage memory and it has fast EVDO (with a promised upgrade to the faster Rev. A) for pleasingly fast data performance.
In my opinion the Mogul has all the features of a great PDA and a pretty decent phone as well.
Sounds good to us, but Rev A. sounds a whole lot better.

The camera took decent pictures, definitely better than the previous generations of 1. 3 MP cameras, but not great.

The speakerphone proves that the phone has a healthy speaker set.
My own experience is that the performance of the phone for Internet use is incredible.
One of the nice features is that there is a" X" button on the top right corner of the screen that allows you to exit out of programs and show the available system memory percentage left.
My device seems faster, the bluetooth has improved (I now have higher volume on my Garmin Nuvi 660), and IE pages seem to load faster.
Also, the GPS is nice but I have to be outside to use it.
It will make your phone act like a regular USB drive, so you can dump stuff onto the drive from Explorer without ActiveSync.
Sound quality is good.
This problem occured at my work where there is a Sprint tower two blocks away and at my house where I have pretty good reception.
My roommate is running a Slingbox and I have to admit his remote feature on his Mogul is so much nicer.

While this makes a good backup battery for emergencies, it is not the same power as the original battery (original: 1500mAh 3. 7V).

This phone's only serious problem is the battery life.
CNET likes the advanced features such as Bluetooth, WiFi and EV-DO , but find the speakerphone to be of poor quality and report sluggish performance.
Slower processor (but Qualcom 386mhz, no longer Intel 416mhz), heavier (but slimmer and much better looking), scroll wheel added, speakerphone added, upgraded bluetooth, better camera and battery and the EVDO upgrade later. . .
The Mogul has the following problems in my opinion: - Poor call quality - Poor build quality - Poor speaker phone quality. (tinny) - Poor Bluetooth stack. (even after installing a modified one) - Poor camera quality. - Lacks 128MB of RAM, this is a HUGE shortcoming.
Does anyone who has already upgraded know if this update fixes the mogul's bluetooth / video driver problems?
Sound quality was mediocre in video and music playback, but the screen is sharp, the colors rich, and it's viewable from any angle, which we loved.

I also wish the Mogul had onboard GPS, though this is the only available feature the handset lacks.
This processor works well, but is very slow when running multiple applications.
The only real complaint with the Mogul is the bad speaker phone quality.
Features and performance may vary by service provider and are subject to network limitations.
A slower processor and limited program memory can sometimes slow down performance.
Slow camera shutter speed.
Good Software, the only things it is missing is software above, and a task switcher.
2008-01-26 A must have for MOGUL owners If you own a MOGUL I am sure you are frustrated with the poor functionality of bluetooth wireless headsets and the fact that they provided a 2. 5mm headphone jack converter for the mini USB port!
The signal quality is also noticeably weaker on the Touch as well and I think the voice quality on the Mogul is a bit better too.
Or I believe the culprit is Pointui Home 1. 51a, because i installed home and did the battery cycles around the same time that my battery became really bad.
This only happens when using the headset, which indicates that either the Bluetooth technology in the phone has a problem, or that my Bluetooth headset needs repair or replacement.
