I think this is a really good phone.

Negative sentences
Strangely, for a 3G capable phone, the E65 lacks a second camera on the front panel for video calling.
You can't create Word or Excel files on the go, but this would be frustrating given the limited 2. 2-inch display and lack of a full QWERTY keyboard.
The E65 also lacks an FM tuner.
It didn't help that most camera phones in this price range are now equipped with larger pixel CCDs, and that the E65 also lacked a LED flash or self-portrait mirror.
This is one fast camera, even considering the two-second file-save delay after each shot.
Speaking of the design phone is made from the pretty strange combination of materials, metal, plastic, rubber, leather and it seams that we only miss some wood parts on this device.
Basically the E65's with the early firmware releases had some bugs that were fixed in later releases.
You say the E65 lacks 3G but then in the feature list say it is UMTS, which is 3G.
The camera on the phone takes the most terrible pictures that are mostly green.
This phone has been back to the shop three times due to poor battery life!
I am using a jewel case to protect the screen which makes some of the keys a little difficult for my (admittedly fat) fingers to access.

The only problem i have is the battery life as it can only last 1 day if i use it alot.
With its 3G for data use only thanks to the absence of a front facing camera, the Nokia E65 misses one important trick.
Cons: 3G frequency is not for the US, brown plastic fake-leather back looks and feels really cheap, slower CPU compared to newer v3 Nokias.

Nokia's E65 features a slider form factor, but lacks the full QWERTY keypad.
Given that the E65 lacks a full keyboard, you must enter text through the keypad using T9 predictive input, a chore for all but the swift-fingered.
Alas, you need to upgrade to the Premier version for $50 if you want to edit those documents, but given the E65's lack of keyboard it's probably not worth the extra expense.

The software is slow Battery life is not good. . . normal use and it dies in a day and a hlaf max.
I know several people with this phone who have all had similar problems, and most of them have had the phone repaired or replaced, only for the exact same issues to arise again shortly after.
I cant afford to be without my phone if it means that all they are going to do is reload the same buggy firmware and send it back to me. . . Like I said, its a real shame this phone is such a disaster, because it has the potential to be a really good phone, if only it worked properly! ! !
Max your speed before you lose your feet.

With very few exceptions, the E65 has what it takes to bring work on the road without worry of interrupted communication or poor functionality.
All work and no play makes for a pretty boring smart phone, so Nokia also added support for video and audio streaming of 3GPP and Real Media, and a music and media player for the MP3 and AAC file formats.
Its slow, damages easily, has poor battery life and crashes often.
Given that the E65 lacks a full keyboard, text must be entered through the keypad using T9 predictive input, a chore for all but the swift-fingered.
It?s not a terrible phone by any stretch of the imagination, but despite some of its gee-whiz features, it fails to rise above mediocre.
