The Web About is an Artificial Intelligence project, whose purpose is to extract automatically facts, features and opinions about products, people, places, etc
Currently we are working on our first opinion mining prototype.
We used it to generate in a completely automatic way product reviews and opinion pools for different products which you can see in our DEMO section. You can read about the recent developments in the Web About Blog
Technology
In our opinion mining and attitude detection prototype we use a combination of Web search, advanced Natural Language Processing (NLP), machine learning and domain knowledge to mine automatically for opinions on certain products.
Our approach uses a non-complicated system for knowledge representations which allows for fast and flexible adaptation to new domains.
We can adapt our opinion mining system to a new domain just by providing a short description of the most important features of the objects.
